Taking an ordinary scene from the day and transforming it into a scintillating mood of lights from activity in the dark of the night — a modern version of the starry skies — that appeal to us.

Jeremy Fergus takes us into the night of London with this capture of the Rail Bridge across the Thames river at night. He transforms the landscape that is usually bustling with business going to and from the city center to a night of energy and lights that draw us into the image.
