Folkestone, Kent in the UK is a place to take a weekend trip and enjoy a stroll by the sea, a pass through beautiful countryside or just visit the beach and take pictures.

Jeremy Fergus recently traveled to Folkestone to do just that; take a few days’ break into a photo excursion out of the ordinary. His capture of the bridge from underneath creates beautiful symmetry and the use of the morning sun gives us lines that continue the eye deep into the image. This is part of his Exploring the UK series and a beautiful capture of the warm tones of the area.

Night photography has an attraction all its own. Taking an ordinary scene from the day and transforming it into a scintillating mood of lights from activity in the dark of the night — a modern version of the starry skies — that appeal to us.

Jeremy Fergus takes us into the night of London with this capture of the Rail Bridge across the Thames river at night. He transforms the landscape that is usually bustling with business going to and from the city center to a night of energy and lights that draw us into the image.

This image is part of his Exploring the UK series of night photography in an urban landscape.

For Hire For Photography

Victorian fashion shoot set against an abandoned prison background provides a stunning image of contrast between beauty and decay. This image was brought together by a talented team of artist and the result is second to none.

To create this image we started with a storyboard of ideas of the concept we wanted to create. Recently we traveled to Greece to an island to capture the prison that has been closed since 1974. During it’s operation from 1948 until 1974 it served as a place of exiles for leftest political dissidents in Greece and other important persons in the early Roman empire.

The island is not inhabited and the only surviving life was some goats and snakes with no natural predators. We visited the closed buildings that served as hospitals facilities and the main prison itself, as well as an administrative building.

We then worked with the beautiful model Corrie Winter and her talented team to create a victorian look that would then be placed in the prison scene. Her stylist, Analisa Ravella created her dress in period couture fashion that perfectly matched the vision. Make-up artist, Christoph Andrew, completed the look with amazing hair and make-up.

During the photo shoot we discussed the poses and outcome of each set-up and the team was fantastic to work with, it was an easy creation of art.

Jeremy Fergus completed the vision by digitally merging the image from the fashion photo shoot with the prison background and added artist elements that created the final piece.
