Since our start in 2005, Bliss Media Photography has continuallystrived to provide art that meets and exceeds our client’s expectations.  We use high qualitiy equipment from our cameras to our printers to produce fine art that will look stunning for years to come.  We shoot with Canon’s pro line consumer camera the new 5d Mark II and print on archival quality paper with our HP Z3100s giclee printer.  From start to finish, you get a product that is second to none.

Freelance Rates

The following is a shedule of commercial or event rates as time for hire for budgetary or forecasting purposes. They do not include any hard prints or processing and are provided in the digital format you require (TIFF, JPG, NEF-RAW, PNG). Client typically maintains unlimited rights to use images as they choose and will be provided hi-res files on CD/DVD. Copyrights of images are held by Bliss Media. Different arrangements can be discussed with regard to copyrights and usage, just ask.

If you require retouching or deep editing, beautification, etc. beyond a couple photos, there will an hourly fee associated for that time. This can be a very time consuming effort but well worth the expense to make your images and your products look their best and with impact.

* Event photography taking candid shots, and possibly posing some, of the guests and surroundings. No light setups or other equipment on-hand except camera and hand-held flash.

 

Prints

Additional prints or copies may be purchased beyond what is included in the package you selected or customized. For example, your package may include 4 photos. The 5th photo and up are available for purchase according to the price schedule below. Optionally you may purchase the high-resolution files for you to manipulate as you like or use your own printer.

Prints can be ordered in high gloss, semi-gloss or in true matte finishes. Specialty print sizes can be accomodated, for instance, you may want 8×12 or 16×16. The cost is effectively tied to the sheet paper size required to print it.* Printed image size is the actual size the image will occupy on the paper. If you like large borders you can print an 8×12″ on 17×22″ paper, for example.

 

High-Resolution Files

Before printing, your images will be in some “hi-res” file format and are available for purchase for you to use in any way you like, royalty-free. Often Photographers will not let these “digital negatives” go because they can provide ongoing revenue for the photographer or agency via print sales. Whatever your choice you will still receive the low-res proof files which are not suitable for reproduction.

As with prints, you may optionally purchase the hi-res files of images in your package and beyond. Similarly, these will also be “beautified” and corrected images and ready for print or resizing. You may also purchase the bulk of images from a shoot unprocessed, i.e., “unbeautified”. A Standard price is not yet determined and will be considered on a per customer basis. This option will always be available to Portrait Package buyers.
